Why do we take communion?
On the first Sunday of each month, we take communion together. Why do we do it?
Christians take Communion because Jesus commanded it as a way to remember His death and resurrection. It is a sacred act of worship where believers reflect on Christ’s sacrifice, receive spiritual encouragement, and express their unity with one another in the body of Christ.
Through the bread and the cup, we proclaim the gospel, are nourished in our faith, and look forward to Christ’s return.
